@Jorsh Exactly! When I go car shopping, the first thing I ask is "how many onion holders does this model have?"

@Juni yeah, not something I would have predicted from #FrameWork ๐ค More of an Apple-like product.

@lonseidman And when Apple does release it, the tech media will go ga-ga over them. It'll be as if Apple invented the foldable phone. Just like when Apple added a fingerprint sensor - 2 years after Android had them ๐

@dsilverman Xfinity has a monopoly in my city. Same here, they're taking their sweet time for DOCSIS 4. Not that I care as I know it'll be Uber expensive. Because who are they competing against?

@dsilverman Since cell reception in my neighborhood is very weak ( I rely on WiFi calling) I've never investigated the 5G plans. Everything I've read about 5G Internet states that you really need a strong signal and an uncongested signal tower. The only competition Xfinity has in my area is AT&T DSL. Yes, old fashioned DSL ๐.

@dsilverman I'm in a very urban area, Fremont, California (SF East Bay). I used to work in IT, so over the years I've had phones with all of the carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and even Sprint). At my house they were all at 1-2 bars or -120db. I'm just in a dead zone ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ In my experience strong 5G signals are very localized. I see 5G Internet as only viable in small areas.

@harrymccracken Their demo with the bicycle repair seemed a bit of a stretch. When the AI calls a bicycle shop to check stock for a screw is somewhat unbelievable. What store clerk is going to converse to a random call with a AI on the other end? And can an AI accurately parse the conversation?

@lonseidman That's a cool accessory. I hope they eventually sell it outside China. Though mine is an older Gen 3.
