@brenttoderian.bsky.social @usa.streetsblog.org @BrentToderian Oh wow, the author of this piece is the new Director of Transportation in my hometown, Richmond, Virginia. Hopefully he can do some good here. #rva

Some jackass tried to intimidate me off the road today while I was on my bike. When they stopped at a red light and I caught up to them, they had the audacity to roll down their (heavily tinted) window to tell me to get my bike off the fucking road. Eat shit. No. Also I'm going to work tirelessly to steal road space from your stupid metal box. #BikeTooter #cycling #rva

@lf_araujo I expect changes because I'm actively working on them with a group of people.

@jcrabapple I self host FreshRSS. I wonder if I can configure it to only update once per day. That would be really nice given the state of world.

@Lyle Do you know of any bills for Richmond?

@Lyle Oh 😐 lol. Come on, Council!

Today's freezing rain and sleet is just about the worst conditions possible for my heat pump, and I'm happy to report it's working just fine thank you very much. The house is on the way up to 68°F from 63°F overnight temps. Oh, and did I mention that heat pumps fight fascists? Bleed the fossil fuel oligarchs dry.

@heathborders Awesome! Today's heat pumps can handle really cold temps. It's awesome.

@chrisod We lower it because we like sleeping cold 😄

@Andres4NY We don't have fares in #rva and I love it. It makes boarding the bus so much simpler. I also want us to redirect all highway funding to public transit, though. Highways are dumb.

I am annoyed today that company job listing pages don't have built in RSS feeds. I want to work for you, but I'm not going to check your website every single day. How is this not standard?
