Insights from my latest piece of workplace research are now available to download from: https://ais-interiors.com/the-space-between/ "The Space Between" explores the question whether office design has changed due to the Covid-19 pandemic (or do we simply work differently within the same spatial structures?)

Thought I remembered folks here talking about good alternatives to global tech bro email accounts (trying to avoid Gmail, Hotmail etc.) but haven't bookmarked it. Any suggestions welcome. @schmidt_fu maybe?

Very happy that a second paper of our 'Learning from disabled spatial narratives' project analysing building experiences of diverse body-minds has now been published, led by my wonderful Bartlett School of Architecture colleague Nina Vollenbröker Entitled “This Space Is an Eclectic Polyglot”: Reviewing an Architecture of Higher Education through Diverse Eyes, Ears, and Minds, the paper was published in Khorein, Journal for Architecture and Philosophy https://discovery.ucl.ac.uk...

Great article in the FT about architects designing fancy public toilets and the need for better provision to make cities more inclusive https://giftarticle.ft.com/giftarticle/actions/redeem/be904f2b-c4bb-4860-85f9-726cf4ce8c3a #GiftLink #ArchitectureResearch #architecture #Urbanism

An incredibly important read on inclusive workplace design "Inclusivity begins with the basics of workplace design. (...) Before you talk about “next-gen workplace experience,” ask yourself: can everyone see, hear, move, breathe and focus here without struggle?" https://www.leesmanindex.com/articles/parallel-realities/ #workplaceDesign #Architecture #inclusion #InclusiveDesign #invisibleDisability #disability

A rammed earth house that reuses existing material on site and works in harmony with the surrounding landscape Beautiful architecture and down to earth (pun intended) - brilliantly written up by @edwinheathcote 👏 https://giftarticle.ft.com/giftarticle/actions/redeem/6ffb9fd9-e702-4520-b7c9-f3cf6d9ff0fd #architecture #sustainability #adaptiveReuse

@sinanaral you find people and their interests by hashtags (unless you know the exact username and server they're on). Hence use hashtags liberally. Good thing: you can edit your posts, e.g. to hashtag important keywords afterwards. Welcome to the other side! 👋
