Just passed the Technician test for Ham Radio and I’m pretty dang happy with myself! Now on to studying for the General test. #HamRadio #Technician #CQCQCQ

I’m filling in a gap of my cultural knowledge. Never saw “Superbad” so I’m watching it now. The jury is still out on my feelings. Keep in mind my all-time favorite movie is “The Shawshank Redemption.” #Superbad #TheShawshankRedemption

I may be watching the #RedSox this evening on the tube but I’m really antsy for the #BostonBruins to get on the ice. That’s where the action really happens!

I had so many lucky things happen to me today! This is quite unusual. They were small things but important to me. I felt like I was living a charmed life. My husband told me I should also buy a lottery ticket. So I did! Fingers crossed! #Lucky #Happy #FingersCrossed

Loki, keeping an eye on the neighborhood for rogue birds, bunnies and pups. (Not MY cat, but close enough to be my cat, considering how much attention I give this fluff ball…)

They won’t. I lived there for 40 years in a blue pocket of the state. The 3 blue pockets won’t carry the whole state. It’s really sad. That’s one of the reasons my family finally left and moved to a more progressive state. New place has its issues, but not like Kentucky continues to have.

I’m just here today to tell everyone I finally got my old printer to connect to my MacBook Air after trying to get this done for 4 days! I’m too polite to shout about it, but I hope everyone reads that sentence as if I typed it in all caps, cuz that’s how I feel! #HappyDance
