    Anyone tried a (recent) FairPhone with /e/OS? I&amp;#39;m really sick of Google&amp;#39;s garbage: their &amp;quot;system services&amp;quot; burn through the battery of an otherwise great Pixel 6a (the phone is great, the software is shit). Until recently a single charge could last 5 days; now it&amp;#39;s forever warm to the touch, forever spinning CPU thanks to Google Play Services. #android #fairphone6 #google

    @lndn@fosstodon.org Afraid to try, tbh. Afraid to brick it. still need a functioning phone, while i experiment with /e/OS. Hence the FairPhone. Was already tempted by FairPhone 5 when it came out but then found the Pxl on sale at an unbeatable price.
