    @jmadelman@historians.social I had a class under 20 a year ago in the pandemic and I still felt like they were on Zoom with their cameras off not realizing class in real life doesn’t work like that

    I am loving the beautiful serendipity of reverse chronological algorithm feeds here on #Mastodon. I&amp;#39;m interacting with many more new people than with other places that keep showing me the same accounts with the most followers/likes. Also, &amp;quot;boosts&amp;quot; here really are boost-worthy comments, since you don&amp;#39;t get any algorithmic advantage you might in other platforms. #Fediverse
