  $variable=true # sets a variable to be true $variable==true # _also_ sets a variable to be true $variable == true # _checks_ if a variable is true $variable = true # _also_ checks if a variable is true (? this is certainly the case based on my testing) In other words, the = is not the important bit but where it is in relation to the variable and the value your saving. 🤯
