To my pleasant surprise, the entire output of The Nerves has been remastered in 96k(!) and was released today. (Also on 2xLP and CD, for you physical media folks.) From what I can tell, also included are all the recordings by The Breakways, the post-Nerves band from P. Case and P. Collins. Just purchased from Bandcamp. Thank you, Third Man Records! https://thirdmanrecords.com/blogs/news/definitive-anthology-from-power-pop-pioneers-the-nerves-now-available-for-pre-order #TheNerves #ThirdManRe...

Currently perusing images from a local estate sale that will be starting tomorrow. It's funny to be scrolling through a bunch of Christmas decorations and then — boom! — A No Fraud LP. 😆 Someone at this address was into hardcore in the late '80s! Curious if there's more. #punk #hardcore #vinyl #records #EstateSale

Since 2023 I've been using Audirvana in order to have bitperfect playback of both my Qobuz and local FLAC music libraries within a single app. A month ago I installed Music Assistant as a Docker container to test it out. I think it's the Audirvana replacement I've been looking for! https://www.music-assistant.io/ 🧵 #music #audio #streaming #AudioPlayer #MusicAssistant #Qobuz #OpenSource #Docker #SelfHosted

I didn't read the list of credits before listening, so GD surprise popping up during the bridge made me chuckle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Iyu1jKjSZ0 #mashup #music #80s #Ghostbusters #Halloween #RayParkerJr
