I've had a terrible day so far, but I did take the #Superloop for the first time and that was the only stress-free bit. Have you taken one, @girlonthenet?

This morning's entry in "is it depression or am I just sick?" roulette is: Sex blogger nostalgia. This shouldn't be history, but it really is. #Eroticon 2012 seems aeons ago. It's a decade and a half, almost. I can't stop thinking about all that we had, who we met, and all the friendships I've lost. 😕

Con: I have been very ill all week and it doesn't feel like I'll get any better soon. Pro: I now do an excellent General Grievous impression.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@GoingDownWithSundial/117376307947647153 I love this so much that I just read the whole thing out loud to my wife. I'm not even meant to be speaking that much.

RE: https://phpc.social/@syntaxseed/117368787337264439 This is a good point. I genuinely don't have many friends like this. In my youth I used to report sexist behaviour to teachers. I'd blog about situations when I did this, but I can't think of... ...oh, I've got one. Right, challenge accepted.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@innocentlb/117377028471215711 Wow, this opened the floodgates. Maybe I do have these stories to tell after all. https://innocentlb.com/2026/10/03/sexist-irc/

RE: https://mastodon.social/@girlonthenet/117366944697898212 Just in case you haven't seen this, it's an example of GOTN being prescient as fuck as normal, and an excellent overview of what surrounds this horrific incident.

#My9Albums by me. Caveats I added: no musical theatre soundtracks (or it would all be soundtracks), musical comedy (ditto), or classical music. Unlike #My9Games, I can't find an option to add an explanation to each one. It certainly does need that option.

As a Green Party member I have my own views on the "Zionism is racism" thing... but... Zionism IS racism, isn't it? What is it if not a form of racism? 😕

This is, I will admit, an incredibly random post, but I link to a couple of other posts in it which are better. Anyway. https://innocentlb.com/2026/10/15/drill/ Drill, ye tarriers, drill! (Not to be confused with: @dril.)

My name's not actually Dan but it's the best I could come up with. https://innocentlb.com/2026/05/09/desperate/ Feeling vulnerable, tread carefully.
