@flyingsaceur @jalefkowit@vmst.io I have memories of finding a winery in France (as a kid with my parents) that had gas pumps outside for Rouge/Blanc/Rose. Unclear if you were allowed to put them in your mouth.

@richard_merren@mastodon.social @ploum I always liked it when the professor wrote the book, they seemed like they were way more likely to photocopy and hand it out for free. One even said he made more than enough money selling it to poor students at other universities.

@cacheflowe How did you create this?

@cacheflowe tried to recreate it in blender, but can't quite get it to blend completely into the background like yours does at times

Trying to decide if i should go 35mm for my family italy trip (Canonet QL17) or whether I should just take the big ol' DSLR (Canon 5D2). Kind of not sure I want the headache of running film through multiple airports - but it's also faster and lighter. WWYD? #photography #analog #filmphotography

Appreciates the irony that we traditionally used fireworks on the 4th of july to be reminiscent of war. Now those are being phased out in favor of drones, and they still get to be reminiscent of war. #ShowerThoughts #July4th #drones

@zannesan @jalcine@todon.eu Also it's a case of a business looking for how to position AI as something that customers already spend a lot of money on. "Human Capital is our biggest expense, how can we put AI in that category" Still I don't see who's really going to bite

@Hey_Beth I mean we're so desensitized to this, I'm not particularly surprised that it happened. Trump's not even surprised this happened and has been courting some form of this for years. His practised, raised fist, pose is exactly what he wanted (and plays wonderfully into his campaign). I only hope your "democrats must be stopped" guy is having a moment of reflection as it appears the shooter was a conservative.

I've been trying for about a year to get off gmail, but the search is just too good and I keep finding myself with roundcube open in one window and gmail in the other. This really started as just seeing if I could replicate gmail's search, but I wound up building it into a pretty fully featured webmail application. https://github.com/grahamsz/rolltop https://rolltop.app Search is really fast! Even running it on my ancient Synology NAS it can search my 100k message account in a...
