Pages such as can not be reached through the hamburger. When the hamburger menu is forced: the Community submenu can not load the Community page. Other submenu headings may be similarly bugged. Without the hamburger, with Community as a menu (not a submenu): a click on the menu item for Community does work. @thismarkp@mastodon.social sorry for not noticing this sooner. I understand that it's disheartening but it's largely (or ultimately) for the users of AI to behave responsibly. Quoted below: one of a number of perceptibly anti-AI posts that I have made in recent months. Whilst drafting this post in the left-hand column of Mastodon, there appeared in the second column yet another post along the lines of "no responsible use of LLMs&q...

@alfonsosiciliano@mastodon.bsd.cafe many months ago, I might have mentioned to you a 2011 MacBookPro8,3 of the type that is bugged at . AMD + Intel graphics. I no longer have that old Mac. We do have – at the office – a circa 2016 MacBook Pro 2.5GHz that should have been written off months ago. I hoarded it for test purposes, it might be good for . Model identifier not yet known, I'll probably find it next week.

@markmcb@mas.to @thismarkp@mastodon.social Something's subtly missing from the front page. We see four aspects of the OS, but (unless I'm missing something) no catchy overview. A keyword with which very few people argue: ― cohesion. Development of FreeBSD is not uniquely cohesive, however IMHO it is a very strong selling point. Toying with two chunks from the Foundation's description of FreeBSD, in no particular order: ― secure, stable, high-performance, modern, community-go...
