  Went up on Torrisholme Barrow for the first time since I was a kid, at ai don’t think I’ve ever seen the view to clear. Ingleborough, Clougha, Williamson’s Park, Heysham Power Staton, Morecambe Bay. All visible from one spot

  3 episodes in and I have to say ‘Stewart Fails to Save the World’ is far better than it has any right being. ‘Big Bang Theory minor characters do Sliders’ it a terrible premise, but somehow it works as a quirky silly self-aware sci-fi comedy. The episodes are too short though!

  With Kel playing, I’ve obviously watched a lot of ball hockey, but tonight was the first time I’ve played! Twice! Sure it was only a silly coaches & parents vs kids scrimmage, but I loved it. 54 isn’t too late to pick up a new sport is it?

  I love that when told to ‘defragment yourselves’ to maximise seating usage at the #EMFCamp closing ceremony, virtually everyone seemed to get it. In some ways, this is even more ‘my people’ than even @defcon@defcon.social !

  @joenash@hachyderm.io I know this is a few months too late (this is my first EMF and I only found out this morning you had an on-site arcade), but still. I was going to chuck in my retrogaming/computing stack (MiSTer FPGA, RetroPie with - greaseweal and 3.5. & 5.25 drive in a mini rackmount cab, with a retail CRT TV and a tonne of OG controllers) just to have in our villiage, but if you want it (and I can find room in the car) then you’re welcome to it in the arcade.
