Thanks @Taweret@timeloop.cafe as always for arranging this. And to @Louisa@mastodon.xyz for the t-shirt. And to the whole #Monsterdon peanut gallery. This is always a bunch of fun. I'd love to stick around for the Double Feature. Theatre of Blood is one of Wanda's favourite movies. And my Dad's (he used to rave about it every once in a while until I bought him the DVD, which I have since inherited). But I've got a bit of a cold, so it's an early night for me. Good night!

Thanks, @Taweret@timeloop.cafe, for arranging another Vinny show, which means another #Monsterdon I don't have to cajole my partner into watching. This one was campier than House on Haunted House, but a little more plodding. Agnes Moorehead gave it quite a boost, though. Bat!

The end! Beautifully shot, well paced, actually fun to watch even without running commentary. I do like this film. I have to admit, though, I've always preferred The Haunting (1963). Based on the same novel, but creepier. And more sapphic vibes. (W says they're in the original book, too.) No Vinny, though. It was one of the only horror films I could stand to watch as a chicken kid. #Monsterdon
