That stern man with the drooping moustache was once a boy who smiled when his mother stroked his hair. If that does not work, just picture him naked.

Switched from Google to #Proton a year ago. Not a single complaint. Actually, quite the opposite.

I'm moving to @felipecutillas: two accounts made no sense. Followers will move over automatically. This account will be deleted on 1 November. Me mudo a @felipecutillas: tener dos cuentas no tenía sentido. Esta cuenta se borrará el 1 de noviembre.

Awesome find: public domain books, carefully edited digitally. They pick quality titles, and the editing makes reading even better. @standardebooks is going to be a big deal; it's a fantastic initiative! 🤩📚 #books #reading #FreeEbook https://standardebooks.org/

People are tired of multiple subscriptions that often go unused. Buying a vinyl record or a DVD encourages conscious consumption and higher-quality leisure activities. This is how I understand the increase in sales of physical media for music, films and series. https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/business/story/2026-02-23/why-gen-z-wants-to-buy-rent-dvds-blu-rays-in-age-of-streaming

What a shame and yet so true: build a great service, give it away for free, make it massive, then enshittify it. That is exactly what Big Tech does. Here a funny video: "A day in the life of an enshittificator" https://youtu.be/T4Upf_B9RLQ #digitaleconomy #bigtechalternatives #Tech #bigtech
