  Temporary Autistic Special Interests are odd. One day you are suddenly fixated by a topic you may previously only had a passing knowledge of. You then go deep in to it, studying as much as you can. Then a few days / weeks / months later, you just don't need to any more. At least that's what happens fairly often with me

  @joshsusser Phases of listening to particular singers - "Well, I guess this is what I listen to now"... A month later, not listened to them again. Or when podcasts were still quite new, searching for all the podcasts I could find and listing them on a Web forum I was a member of. I did the same with companies offering free DVDs (eg promotional ones with adverts for their products on).
