  To me, this feels like an extension of DOGE. Big claims about fraud, using data-matching to drop people from coverage. Without actual data, or investigation, it is impossible to refute the claims, but such transparency is unlikely to be forthcoming.   This is a regular feature of data-matching, especially when done in a half-assed way. The purpose is to create the false claims of fraud. For example, Republicans complained for years about the risk of double voting. A credible system was built to detect it (ERIC). Then they killed it.
