  So this week I've agonized over consumer electronics. A dual monitor display. In ear buds to replace ruined Google Pixelbuds. (No more Google products for awhile for me.) The choices out there are staggering and reminds me of the car purchasing experience.

  Thanks to #boosteroid cloud gaming, I can play #MarathonGame even on an old Asus #chromebox I bought back in 2018? The little thing is still getting software updates. An Ethernet cable between it and the Internet router keeps the latency low.

  Lately very frustrated by wifi latency ruining my #marathongame sessions. Hard-wired connections seem necessary. Ordered a mesh wifi router which, I hope, will improve things.

  For once, I actually did not regret listening to other players in #MarathonGame. Usually, I find myself annoyed by the gamer bro immature bashing. Oh. My Pixel Buds Pro mic actually works on my aged #PixelSlate of all things. I had been favoring my Intel #MacMini but I have never been able to get the microphone to work.

  #marathongame went much better this evening. I don’t have much time to play and, for once in a long time, a crew fill went pretty well. Team was polite, too.

  Ugh. I tried switching to mouse and keyboard for #marathongame and it went terribly. I spent decades typing and, really, I just do not need another reason for sore arms. I am looking for a lag-free game controller experience. There is a lot of crap out there, but I need something that comes a little closer to keyboard and mouse responsiveness. I am not pro, but I do need a better controller if such a thing exists.
