TangerineUI Classic v3.0.0c1 is out 🍊 Mastodon 5.0 brings a redesigned web interface, already live on https://mastodon.social as nightly builds. Classic now follows it there: two-tone accent icons in the new navigation, stars instead of hearts, the rocket for boosts, accent buttons, frames and polls, and the same flat, calm look you know from 4.x. Still works on 4.6–4.7, where the footer signature line is back too. https://github.com/DanielSnor/TangerineUI-Classic-for-Mastodon/releases/tag/3....

TangerineUI Classic v3.0.0c2 is out 🍊 A day after 3.0.0c1, a round of Mastodon 5.0 polish: Tangerine's rounded font is back, media get a proper edge around the new rounded corners, Hide/ALT pills are neutral instead of lavender, dialogs and the Edit Profile page match the rest, and deck columns now share the full screen width. Also fixes the Edit profile button losing its label on hover. https://github.com/DanielSnor/TangerineUI-Classic-for-Mastodon/releases/tag/3.0.0c2 #Mastodon #CSS...

👧 A tati, a budou mít ty helmy a velký zahnutý obušky nahoru? 🧔 Zahnutý obušky. Když vydržíš nic nedělat, budou i obušky. 👧 Ne, ne, já nemusím, já už ho vidím! #nesvobodanadohled

TangerineUI Classic v2.6.4c2 is out 🍊 The advanced web interface got a proper makeover: navigation on the left, content columns sharing the width equally in the middle, search & compose on the right — the whole deck centred on large screens. Same arrangement you know from the single-column UI, finally consistent. Plus fixes for the 4.6 nav column and some dead-code cleanup. https://github.com/DanielSnor/TangerineUI-Classic-for-Mastodon/releases/tag/2.6.4c2 #TangerineUI #Mastodon #CSS

A thread about TangerineUI, the Mastodon theme — its history, and why there's now a "Classic" fork. 🍊🐦 The short version: @nileane@mastodon.social created the original TangerineUI for Mastodon. When she stepped back from maintaining it, @matt_birchler@mastodon.social picked it up as "Tangerine Neue," carrying it through Mastodon's big 4.6 theming overhaul so it kept working at all. #TangerineUI #mastodon #css
