Reinstalled Ultra Street Fighter IV after watching Justin Wong mix it up on stream. Accprding to my Steam stats, I played it almost exactly 10 years ago (yikes!). The memory of that long-ago session was burned into my memory. I decided to skip the training, challenges and arcade modes and go straight into online matches. I picked my boy Dan, immediately facing off against another Dan in some sort of tanuki costume. He beat my ass so bad that he let me get a free hit on him in the 2nd round out...

Getting into #CitizenSleeper after I picked it up free a long time ago. I'm not usually one for narrative-first experience, but the art and writing reinforce the themes and gameplay so well, it's a delight to explore every nook and cranny. Also, and I feel this isn't said enough, the amount of time it takes to get into the actual game is quick, quick, quick. I definitely don't have the most up-to-date rig, but three clicks and five seconds is all it takes to sli...

I've gotten to a point in #CitizenSleeper that I thought would be the end, bringing credits down to close off all the dangling threads still left. But again I was pleasantly surprised by the bit of a left turn that things take. The game goes on, bits from the end of one storyline plug into others and even more interesting plots develop. If you've played before, I just planted the seed in the Greenway and I'm quite interested in what will happen when it grows. Nothing...

The end was right around the corner from where I was. #CitizenSleeper wrapped up nicely about 20 minutes from where I stopped last time. I made what felt like a pretty consequential decision at the end and immediately went back to see the alternatives. All great! Citizen Sleeper 2 wasn't on my radar at all but now it's on the wishlist.

Been running through Noita lately. All that practice from games like Abuse is finally coming in handy! I think I'm just having bad luck finding decent wands, or more likely I get greedy fighting enemies trying to get more gold. Definitely not being cautious enough, but it's just too fun to try for one more before moving on. Any advice for a relatively new player? #Noita #roguelike

Finished West of Loathing the other day. Such a fun game. Sometimes you just want a quick, light game to toodle around in, and this game fits the bill perfectly. And it's stuffed with boatloads of ridiculous jokes! My current favorite: you visit a graveyard in the game, filled with spooky skeletons. The graveyard has an eternal flame in it and when you walk up to it the description reads, "Is this burning an eternal flame? Yes." After finishing it, I read some guides a...
