  It's hard for healthy people to imagine what this is like...I spent about 2 years almost 100% bedbound and it is hell. Showered about once every 10 days because that's all that my energy budget allowed. Some people in this severely ill state experience partial spontaneous recovery but some certainly do not.   So there's this big leak of Cartoon Network internal files going around and I was curious to see what I'd find from my favorite show there: Harvey Birdman - Attorney at Law.   Saw The Odyssey last night at our island's last remaining theater, a 1930s art deco building now run by a local non-profit. Pretty much a full house for the last of five showings over a week. I enjoyed it although...during bright scenes I wanted to walk up to the screen and smooth the wrinkles. Also: "Dad!" seemed...a tad informal for the palace and it made me snort a piece of popcorn up my nose. #TheOdyssey #film #movies

  One of the smartest and most knowledgeable people I know, who is an MD, uses ChatGPT *constantly* in his daily life. He visited me a few months back & was asking it everything about our trip, about whatever topic we were talking about, using it to plan another trip... This guy loves learning and has spent decades constantly learning stuff on his own in many areas (he's also an app coder) and I think the LLM feels like a shortcut to even MOAR knowledge and information.   Kind of a niche post, but if any #scuba divers are looking into diving Kaua'i, the famous Tunnels dive is now off-limits to commerical operations. This is a fairly recent change inside Haena State Park; no more permits for any commercial activity. Divers can still dive there but tours and paid guides are not allowed. A local guide just confirmed this to me. I would NOT recommend swimming or diving into the maze of lava tubes without an experienced guide. It's...a complicated system of...
