I do wish @ivory would include multiple accounts in the same timeline (don’t see an option to do this). For example, I’m on hachyderm as I like them, BUT I don’t agree with their position on federating with Threads so I have a mastodon.social account for following Threads accounts. I’d 💙 seeing them both in the same timeline (with replies/boosts/favorites knowing which account to use). I know you all have other work going on, but just a feature request 😄

#SiriAI has now started demanding I unlock my iPhone to resume, pause or end a workout. I’ve been using this since upgrading to #ios27 and find the new insistence on an unlock to be ridiculous. Is it supposed to be a useful assistant? Then let it be that. I have my iPhone 17 Pro, Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods Pro 3 in use in these occasions. It seems obvious there are signals to show it’s me and it’s an innocuous action, so why the friction. I’m annoyed that trying to open my garage doors...

He has no clue how ridiculous he sounds… most of that desktop ram has nothing to do with AI or agents. Between him and Amodei, I’m not sure which is better at putting out the worst sounding quotes… https://www.theverge.com/ai-artificial-intelligence/1023820/sam-altman-ram-shortage-cloud-servers

After trying #fineliner and enjoying the onboarding (yes, I paused @atpfm), I continue to be horrified at the quality of my drawing on my iPad Air. I’ve never gotten good with a pencil compared to drawing on paper. It’s too slick, leading to constant unintended squiggles. I’m starting to wonder if the fact that I always have a tempered glass screen protector on all my devices is making this worse. Maybe it’s more slick than the built-in screen? Or maybe my naturally shaky hands just can’t handle...

I don't think anyone has to make a film exactly like Project Hail Mary. I don't think these 4 "lessons" have to be followed exactly and I don't have any issue with green screens, but I think the ideas presented should be considered and put in practice when they make sense... https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/project-hail-mary-lessons-box-office-1236544231/

RE: https://mastodon.social/@macrumors/116295874097648809 Apple, stop it. Wrap-around screens have been tried, the market rejected them. For me, I want a flat front screen. If I can't cleanly install a screen protector, the phone isn't a good choice as the screens still get damaged and I want an extra layer of protection...

Rest in peace, Principal Strickland yes, he had a long filmography as well as the stage & TV, but Back to the Future is what I picture him from... https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/james-tolkan-dead-back-to-the-future-top-gun-1236549260/

I don't think I've ever upgraded watchOS as fast as I did to get to 26.4 and that is all thanks to the fact that I had heard the Workout app was finally fixed Thankfully, this long global nightmare is over 😄
