    Ce soir la nuit est tombée trop vite, elle a fait un bruit en touchant le sol. Je suis allé à la fenêtre, et j&amp;#39;ai vu mes voisins, qui, eux aussi, regardaient en bas, la nuit étalée par terre. On ne savait pas trop comment l&amp;#39;aider, alors on est allés se coucher, et on verra, demain matin, si elle a réussi à se relever.

    One of my plants in the sunlight, pastels on black paper. I ended up getting a box of pastels for myself and also various papers with colours or bigger/finer grains. I think I don&amp;#39;t like some much when the grain is too big like here, also painting on black is weird, and I&amp;#39;m not very happy about the result. I tried to not overthink it and stopped early before I make a bigger mess.

    Then I thought I need a drink and made a Red Snapper (sort of), which is like a bloody mary but with gin. Pastels on white paper with slightly finer grain but still quite grainy.

    Full moon during a foggy night. Carrés Conté on black paper. I flipped the black paper over and it has a finer grain on the other side. This is a scene I saw by my window when I was visiting my family in the coutryside a few days ago. I took a picture but it doesn&amp;#39;t look great from a phone camera (my phone is not very good at capturing nice lighting like a sunset, the photos are always disappointing compared to what you see yourself)
