  I thought I'd edit and remaster 'Last Good Summer' from the summer Bonkwave comp this week as it seemed like an apt time to put it out, but it's been too hot to work in the studio.

  I paid out for Vital, because there are loads of presets that complain that they can't be read as they need a newer version, but even with the Pro version I was getting the same error. Turns out I needed the Early Access version, which apparently everyone uses now, which isn't entirely obvious #VitalSynth

  Either MPC 3.9.1 is finally too much for the Akai Force or something fundamental has changed in Arrange as my admittedly slightly weird workflow of arranging tracks in Bitwig and playing MIDI back into the Force to render them is struggling a bit.

  We finally visited Harmonic Fields yesterday afternoon, but the usually reliably windy moor didn't deliver, so what we saw and heard was a lot of static sculptures. It did look quite good though.
