To be clear, I am not saying that people who can only express themselves in that space are lesser. What I am saying is that they are trying to sort out a lot of stuff. I have sort of intentionally not done anything about how I speak and continue to use the same voice I&#39;ve had since it dropped decades ago. I haven&#39;t really changed my speech patterns or anything. HOWEVER I have been trying to un-masc my Japanese seeing as when I was living there in my 20s it was as a man and with other men as my primary resources. @ezlin yeah the whole scene isn&#39;t like that, but a lot of it is. I don&#39;t participate in it. I&#39;m in a DJ collective and venue people can book us and I&#39;m playing 2-4 gigs a week which is plenty. But I just can&#39;t deal with those people anymore. It&#39;s too much.
