    @jstultz thank you for sharing this, I don&#39;t know why I hadn&#39;t looked at tweaking the terminal so it also copies selections to the clipboard before. It seems xfce4-terminal supports this setting, so I can now happily copy by selecting in the terminal, ctrl-c everywhere else, and otherwise forget PRIMARY exists.
