    Dabbling in #Fsharp and reading lots of online documentation, I keep coming across the attribute &amp;quot;non-generic&amp;quot; for types without parametrization. There is `Task&amp;lt;int&amp;gt;`, and there is `Task` (full stop). Why is the latter called &amp;quot;non-generic&amp;quot;? It seems to me more generic than the one specialized for ints. This wording is weird. I see that Task&amp;lt;...&amp;gt; is the actual generic type, but still, I have to explicitly translate these references,...

    @flq i just reached part two of day 6. Doing it in #fsharp though. I heavily over engineered day 2 (the one with the voltage). Took me two days and then the solution was so simple I cringed 🫣😃

    I experienced Mastodon mostly as a nice place, and yet I hardly ever open the app anymore. It feels like the new normal for me.I am currently fed up with the news, in particular in Tech. And I am sick of those clear-cut political statements which, for the better or worse, also dominate my timeline. I am sick of nodding along while reading, or SMH, or lol. It&amp;#39;s all true and yet, it&amp;#39;s enough for now. I hope you guys are all well, keep on moving!

    Are there any alternatives to lobsters and hacker news? I really liked it in yonder times, when AI was not that dominant and there were links to interesting and often quite nerdy posts. Nowadays it&amp;#39;s rather boring and depressing.
