Finally read Nick Heer's metaverse piece. Amazing. Also, a question for Americans: is Forbes in any way a serious outlet? Was it ever? https://c.im/@nickheer/116607143187080782

Speaking of great iOS apps. We are camping this week and had to set up our tent a couple of times. When we get to our assigned spot I try and “eyeball” how the sun will move across the sky so we can orient the tent “correctly”. I was pretty terrible at guessing the suns trajectory … then thought, surely there is an app for that. Downloaded Sunlitt and OMG what a delightful app. It’s almost a fidget toy. It also makes figuring out how to orient a tent easy. 5 stars. https://apps.apple.com/si/ap...

RE: https://zeppelin.flights/@jsnell/117156272481461124 Jason put this in parentheses which did not mitigate the hurt. 😬 “(But keep in mind, the M4 Mac mini was introduced at $599 before Apple recently raised that price. Put together, it’s a 50% price increase over the model introduced almost two years ago. We all know why, but it still hurts.)”

I don't do a lot of "photoshopping," but when I do, I do it in Acorn and it’s awesome. Without fail, it can do the things I want in a way that makes sense to my brain. It really is one of those apps I mention first when I try to explain how the app situation on the Mac is pretty great.
