Corporate killed the crossover. We'll probably never get a live action Star Trek + Doctor Who crossover. But we'll always have the comic books and the game. @startrek #StarTrek #DoctorWho #ParamountPlus #BBC #television #ScienceFiction https://trekmovie.com/2026/10/14/former-doctor-who-showrunner-says-nightmare-corporate-politics-killed-star-trek-strange-new-worlds-crossover/

RE: https://mastodon.social/@ansonkennedy/116957380383314956 I am serious about playing Star Fleet Battles. Apparently Amarillo Design Bureau produces the game now. Anyone know anything about them? #games #tabletop #wargame #StarFleetBattles #AmarilloDesignBureau

According to "The Changeling," Nomad's weapon packed the punch of 90 photon torpedoes and reduced Enterprise shield power by 20%. The shields could withstand 3 more attacks and the 4th would "shatter" them. So the Enterprise could take 360 torpedo hits before the shields were weakened to the point of failing. Somewhere between 360 and 400 torpedos would take them down. I don't think the shields were ever this powerful in other episodes. #St...

Star Trek TOS blooper! In "The Corbomite Manuever," after Balok has given the Enterprise crew 10 Earth minutes to make peace with their deities McCoy enters the bridge wearing a standard uniform tunic. Then, in close-ups, he's wearing his medic tunic. Then when Bailey freaks out McCoy is back in his standard uniform. #StarTrek #StarTrekTOS #bloopers #television #ScienceFiction
