  Really think the most formative curriculum choice my teachers at high school made for me was assigning Henry IV pt 1 as the Shakespeare play for freshmen year. We had done Julius Caesar and A Midsummer Night’s Dream in junior school and those went down okay but Henry IV was the moment something clicked inside me.   Yeah, I will have to check that out. There is a rolling performance of the Henriad (smushing HIV together) with a single cast being put on in Minneapolis next spring that I am going to have to see, including a few days they run all three. I have missed out on chances to see a lot of the Histories and am trying to fill in my gaps as long as they are within driving distance of my hometown in St Louis.
