    A generally useful system is composed of special cases that are within its scope. Some special cases are easily justifiable as out of scope. However, beware of throwing out the special cases needed to achieve generality— you’ll be left with a system that’s generally useless.

    The Turkish Baykar drone company is reportedly fueling the civil war in Sudan. The CEO has a US PhD in robotics from Georgia Tech if I recall correctly. This is also the same company whose Bayraktar TB2 drones became famous for their use by Ukraine at the start of Russia’s invasion. https://wapo.st/3QN0bhY
