  Does anyone have any recommendations for how I could set up an open source alternative to Google Assistant (the old one, not Gemini?) My phone runs LineageOS, and I have an enterprise server. It would be useful to be able to verbally set alarms, reminders, etc. on my phone/desktop. I also have lights that I'd like to be able to verbally control, and I have no idea if Home Assistant supports them.

  I'm not a fan of this new mastodon layout at all tbh. It's very problematic for my use of desktop zoom. It took m an embarrassing amount of time to realize the post editor is now at the bottom of the page even though the "Create Post" button is where the old editor was (in the top left of the page). This UX only really works if you're capable of seeing the whole browser at once. I'm just not.

  Gonna say something controversial. LLMs, if they *work well*, are great accessibility tools. They can pick useful information out of giant diagnostic logs I have trouble reading. Lots of people use LLMs to write code for them. Sometimes, the code generated is either poor quality or doesn't work. In fact, I'd argue that's the case most of the time. But if you physically cannot read or write code, despite having the skill to do so, then what are your options?
