Prototype of my garden watering controller. Esp32 with PWM MOSFET driver and current sense feedback amp. This drives a solenoid, allowing it to be given a good smack to get it open, then back off the current. This also allows it to cater for variable bus voltage, as it has a solar charged lead acid for power. Still need to add moisture sensing and charge control, but its getting there bit by bit.
