@DrFerrous @skepteis Netflix in South Africa has them with German sound tracks. Weirdly if I set my VPN to German they are not available.

@Shanmonster@mastodon.lol my dad told me that the green in green cheese referred to its level of maturity or ripeness. How green fruit is not ripe and changes colour as it matures. He said that certain wheels of cheese start out white in colour and change to a yellow colour as they mature. So the moon looked like a wheel of green (immature) cheese Not having the internet back then and it sounded plausible, I've never looked it up until now and it appears to be correct https://en.wikipe...

@mmezabet@artisan.chat @WoollyWormhead I find this frustrating as it is ultimately isles to most people. It's just simplifying the easiest part of multiplication, multiplying single digit numbers. The fact that people are commenting it's magic says it's not conveying understanding. Also try 79x86 using it or 5465x4268

@davidtoddmccarty a lot of these are vandalizing the housing rather than the art. If the art itself was being vandalised I would need to rethink my opinion. It's certainly getting media attention. I think your analogy is wrong. It would be closer to burning down the housing minister's house to protest the housing crisis but even that analogy is not quite the same.

@davidtoddmccarty I can see a lot of young people seeing the outrage and thinking, people are more concerned about a painting than the planet or my future. I've seen many complaints about people protesting wrong, be it guns, apartheid.... I don't know if this is right or effective. Time will tell
