    Asking my #teaching friends how they handle when students break dress code. I mean, when body parts are hanging out. My school keeps a selection of &amp;quot;swag&amp;quot; they can wear over their clothes. The kids actually like to represent our school and are happy to take it.

    School Fall Festival was today. We had games, food, a selfie room (these are high schoolers), and crafts. During this, I was running around dressed as Ms. Frizzle while also dealing with administrative stuff I always handle. With an hour to go, one student turned to her friends and said, &amp;quot;MizFidd is overstimulated. Let her regulate herself.&amp;quot; And that, my dears, is yet another reason I love what I do.

    I NEVER remember until it&#39;s too late. If I have the smallest contact with poison ivy, and if I don&#39;t immediately scrub my entire body with Tecnu (which is a game changer), It will go systemic. Case in point, I brushed my left arm against poison ivy last week and didn&#39;t notice until there was a pronounced bump and a diagonal line of tiny bumps right next to it.     Six months in Covid lockdown, I stumbled upon a novel by Natalie Zina Walschots. Hench is the story of a woman who starts temp work through an agency staffing support roles for villains (her specialty is data analytics). It quickly became one of my all time favorite novels. I’ve probably either read or listened to at least twice a year. The sequel finally came out this morning. Why yes, I AM taking off tomorrow.

    One of my coworkers read the directions for a frozen snack. It said to microwave it for 15 seconds. She decided the directions were wrong and left it on for 3 minutes. Well, now I know we have a problem with the building&amp;#39;s smoke detectors. Yay? Praise an abundance of air filters! It might smell normal in here by tomorrow.
