In fifteen minutes we'll be viewing the last of the special October Vincent Price #Monsterdon selections, The Haunted Palace (1963). It's a menacing gothic Corman-directed chiller. Queue it up on Tubi and join in the spooky, snarky commenting. 🎃

#3GoodThings (Old-school mid-level tech skill wins) Got relevant people access to a shared mailbox that has been accumulating messages for years. Got relevant people admin access to listservs for which no current employee could add subscribers for years. Shared knowledge on how to share posts and reels from other departments' Instagram posts. It's called SOCIAL media for Pete's sake.

#3GoodThings Early voting started here today. Hooray for the poll workers staffing the remaining very jammed polling sites. My students are rocking the analysis of indirect speech acts. Second false fall. Cool enough to open the windows, but so much ragweed that you close ithem again. Still, I'll take the temps.

Great stuff! Batting a thousand for October, @Taweret. The Fly's a good one, too, but I have an early morning, so, another time. Thanks everyone for posting on #Monsterdon

Also kind of great to see Agnes Moorhead as independent and charming. I only experienced her as the campy, crabby, and heavily eye-shadowed Endora on Bewitched. #Monsterdon

Very satisfying. If I had known about this in junior high, I would have had it in tight rotation with the Thin Man films. #Monsterdon
