My cousin from the “anything but real medicine” side of the family was convinced to see a doctor and get some labs. She had been putting it off for a year because she was convinced it was cancer. H. pylori. She needs a pepto bidmol and a Pepcid.

RE: https://tomkahe.com/@GiftArticles/117503118641174435 How is it still a topic of daily news stories, when we have known for sure from basically day three, and were pretty sure on day 1?

Lawyer set up a trust for me and fucked up the mortgage transfer in a way so that it triggered a new appraisal, and I’ve been pouring my savings into escrow, but if it doesn’t get fixed in the next year, I’m gonna have to sell. And even if it does get fixed, I am worried that this absurd inflation is going to do it anyway. Everything costs double what it did when I was forced to retire.

I used to hang out at this place The Poetry Shop, which pretended to sell coffee. The owner, John Gorham, would play Crazy Train on a guitar laying flat. One day he saw me do it and he was shocked.

Hmm, wish I could view a custom timeline that let me see things like: People who follow me, but I don’t follow. People I have faved or boosted more than $times but that I don’t follow. People who I follow, but don’t post much. (Bluesky “quiet posters” list)

Other than Arcade missions I have to wait for, I have three remaining challenges in Hitman. Need to get SA on the Colorado Sarajevo Six member, and then two sniper missions. All are gonna be a pain.

This shortcut runs when you get a text message containing the word “stop”. It checks if the sender is in your contacts and if not it looks for another keyword like “end” “unsubscribe” and then checks the rest of the message against a political wordlist. (SpamMatch.txt, which is written by the setup shortcut below. It’s newline separated and supports regex, customize away and let me know what works for you). I should note that you’ll probably find your favorite candidate in that wordlist. If...

SpaceX Starship launch 14 in about 9 hours, so I guess I’ll see the video when I do my morning doomscroll. They’re trying for orbit and the change is a longer second stage burn, not the booster. Apparently they have been doing suborbital because that meant they could guarantee it’d hit ocean regardless of what happened to their flight controls (like that methane leak).
