Just finished In Ascension by Martin MacInnes. It's a book that will stay with me, I felt it yesterday driving across the vast empty Rannoch Moor. Such a scale of time and distance discussed in the book. Still I'm not completely sure of my overall feelings about it. #InAscension #Scifi #Bookstodon #books #Space #Algae

Bookshelves are more interesting when my boy's around. I reckon he'd be good in the creative business when he leaves school. #ActionFigures #Marvel #Display #Bookshelf #Design #Screenplay #Filmmaking #Film #Thor

If you're having fun with your kids reading out number plates as words, maybe skip the one that says J15 FZR. #Parenting

My Year in Books 2024: Part 1. I read 50 books this year, Here’s my top half, no particular order to these. I’ll list the books in a further post in this thread. A couple of my favourites were borrowed or have been lent out now. Particular favourites were We Have Always lived in the Castle, This Earthly Globe and Every Sky a Grave. #Bookstodon
