We went to #Beddgelert today to pick up some new hiking socks for me (this is scintillating, no?). Day 290 #365project The sky was incredible tonight! Look, I know it might seem like we have these amazing skies every evening, but it's just not true! So anytime I see a sky like this, it's going to end up being my photo of the day... #FotoVorschlag #Pilze » #Mushrooms I didn't even believe that mushrooms like this 🍄 existed in the real world until I saw @arcturus post a picture of one. And then I saw them in real life and 🤯🤯🤯 As far as the photo goes... It was dark, I was tired (end of a long hike), and I didn't have my glasses so focusing was haphazard... But here's a huge mushroom that looks like an emoji! 🍄 #mushroom #toadstool #fungi #fungus #pilz #autumn #autumnal #autumncolours #forest...

#FotoVorschlag Mineralien und Gesteine » Minerals and Rocks Remember the hike I did a couple of months ago where it rained on me and I was cold and wet and tired and miserable? Well, near the summit, there was this very cool cairn and I courageously stopped (while getting soaked and shivering and cursing in my head) to take a quick pic of it with my phone. No, no... No applause. I did my pixelfed duty. 🤣 ⚠️ Editing to add that I did not (and never do) participate in cairn building because...
