  Likely because “kaputt” translates to “kaput” in English, and depending on your region you may have heard something like “My computer went kaput” or “my car is kaput”. Usually means the thing is non-functional; so broken, dead, etc.

  For motivation I'd recommend lessons with someone, or finding a band to join. Having another person involved may help keep the drive up. Fun lesson - I personally enjoy making a playlist of tunes I like (or want to learn), then playing along. Helps with endurance & improv

Glad it's not just me; I've had a hell of a time explaining this sensation over the years. > People who do this tend to “lose themselves” in extremely vivid and detailed daydreams.
