    Well, that’s nice. I get to stay home and not have to do work or interact with people for a few days. (I’m feeling okay as long as I don’t try to do too much.)

    @thejenniwren Please put a content warning on stuff like this. I don’t need to see this guy’s face in my feed.

    @roxiqt Me too!

    @Zurtle Or maybe “our cameras have been down since, oh, I dunno…”

    @JimRion It looks as though they’re extracting fibre from bark and turning it into a thread they can weave with. Also looks like a lot of work for a pretty small quantity.

    @JimRion Ah I see. Yes, she’s tying heddles. The purpose is to use the stick to lift every second (probably) warp thread, to open the opposite shed.

    @JimRion I think it’s used to hold the shed open while putting the shuttle through. I don’t know a word for that, I don’t have experience with that type of loom. I think paddle would do.

    @thejenniwren I agree with your anger, and I think he’s (unprintable). But I still would like to see a warning on it. For many reasons. One of which is we have neo-nazis of our own to deal with in this country, and we don’t need to import America’s problems. But that’s okay. I have the option to mute people who won’t use content warnings.

    Of course, there will be appeals all the way up to the Supreme Court, but this is a good start.

    @nuintari@infosec.exchange I was so glad to hear that.
