    I got this cheap-seeming plastic-body fountain pen some time ago (didn&amp;#39;t buy it, it came with something else), and I didn&amp;#39;t bother to put it to use, because I figured it couldn&amp;#39;t be good quality or nice to write with.     This is an excellent point. But it being contradictory doesn&amp;#39;t stop the TRAs, as we&amp;#39;ve all seen them say, in essentially the same breath, that we shouldn&amp;#39;t tell TIM not to use women&amp;#39;s spaces, but we wouldn&amp;#39;t be able to tell anyway if they did.     Another very good point. However, it is true that many dysmorphic people do pursue body modifications which in the long term just make them more dysmorphic, due to being a constant reminder that they aren&amp;#39;t what they would want to be. People do act against their own interests, and they do take action which makes their situation worse, all the while telling themselves this will make it all better.
