I&#39;ve got used to my daughter not sleeping through the night lately - whether due to her being ill or teething. Last night she didn&#39;t wake us at all. Instead I woke up fretting that she wasn&#39;t okay as she hadn&#39;t woken me up. Sigh. She was a very sleepy fruitbat this morning. The snores were adorable and continued long after the bedroom lights were turned on.

If it says to keep your dog on a lead, keep them on a lead. A dog ran around the corner and attacked my corgi. We broke it up with only a small cut on his ear, but come on!

It turns out that when I try to write code and be sociable at the same time, my brain doesn&#39;t quite work right. Like I forget that list comprehensions exist and write hacky rubbish that works but is about as elegant as an elephant in a morph suit.

Why is it that most gates at a given airport have loads of amenities but invariably the one I'm stuck at has, at best, an insulting expensive vending machine and an air of urban decay?
