Hm, it seems that the #vote map on vote.nz is still the same as the one I made 4 or so years ago. Maybe some updated voting stations, but otherwise, the whole codebase looks exactly the same. https://map.vote.nz/voting-places#

Headphones (Sony WH-1000XM4) are either "fully charged" or below 30% Work #Windows laptop claims my headphones battery is at 40%, always Personal #Linux laptop usually differs from what the headphones claim, when headphones say full, laptop says something between 50-100%, when headphones are below 30%, it usually says 10% higher. None of the numbers, not from the headphones themselves either, make much sense compared to actual time of use.

Bought a pair of Loop Engage 2 Plus earplugs. 🤞 it'll help me in busy/crowded situations to get some calm. They won't arrive in time for #KawaiiCon, I'm afraid, but I'll see how it goes.

So, the #Anthropic public filing says that... " Claude could go out of control, with no one knowing how to stop it " Has nobody heard of the concept of literally pulling the plug?

Hmmm, the #TSB app takes multiple minutes to load when I'm on my home #wifi, but on the mobile network, it takes seconds... Seems fishy, my gut feeling is there's a heapload of tracking attempting to load before the actual log-in and fetch data actions are taken.

A lorry full of Worcestershire sauce crashed into a Lamborghini Murcielago in Loughborough today. The driver, originally from Saskatchewan, was thankfully unharmed. A local Ophthalmologist, Tarquin Cholmondeley Fetherstone-Hall, informed the emergency services using his Xiaomi smartphone. - A police spokesperson told local news that "It is very difficult to say what happened"

Please help. My MSI Venture 15 A1MG suddenly has a weird problem. On the built-in laptop #keyboard, when I press "Enter", either the numpad one, or the normal one, the whole keyboard stops working. Very weird

2026/2027 is going to be the year of the GNU / #Linux #desktop! How far are you in your Linux journey? What's your daily OS of choice? (If you're forced to use Windows at work, I don't consider that a daily driver of choice)

#Powershop has released their new "labs" application. This broke my old CSV import from Powershop into #HomeAssistant. And I couldn't let that go on for too long! So I built a new importer for Home Assistant. https://firesphere.dev/articles/ive-got-the-power?mtm_campaign=social&mtm_kwd=mastodon

Alright, new #Powershop app. Time to start dissecting this thing. So far, 3 things are clear: - It looks.... vibe-coded? Is that a thing? - It's GraphQL - It's JWT - It makes no attempt at hiding what its doing
