Went to see Tony Moore's 'Awake' show last night; so enjoyable. My god, that man can play guitar!!! Check out the website for info; he's got quite a story. http://www.awakemusic.info/wp/ #TonyMoore

These are the bands I'll be playing on the show tomorrow. It's a straight playlist this week and next due to the holidays, so no talk, just Rock (except for a nice intro from #AldoRox frontman Micky). If you like Metal and want to discover new music by new bands, I’m your gurrl. Links to listen are on the website and a link to that is in my bio. #Music #MetalMusic #TheHeavyRockShow #ItsGoodToBeQueen 👑🤘

@GrumpyDoomster I'm always on the search for new metal music so these are great finds. So glad you like Sahg; I think they're great! White Ward is a really nice find for me - fantastic.

@GrumpyDoomster Have you heard Shape of Water? They just released their sophomore album which is stunning. White Ward made me think of them. The album is called Amor Fati. Not shoutie but some really interesting musical arrangements with horns and other instruments. :)

@GrumpyDoomster You're welcome! They're all about genre fusion, hence the name. They're an Italian duo that moved to Manchester a few years ago. I had the pleasure of interviewing them for ERB Magazine; they are really interesting; intelligent, passionate and funny guys. And the album is a work of art to my ears.

@Rincewind A great place to start! For me it was The Beatles when I was a wee girl; music surrounded me from a young age but for hard rock it was Zeppelin. That changed everything for me and it's been such an enjoyable ride ever since.

@GrumpyDoomster Ooh, dark and heavy! I see they're coming to London in Feb; I may have to go see them.

Very sad to hear Jeff Beck has left us. He was a game changer for progressing Rock music in terms of guitar. Legend. 🖤
