    @catsnkittens@botsin.space Stray cats look &amp;quot;well fed&amp;quot; because they kill local fauna. Cats should be kept inside &amp;amp; controlled when outdoors. Cats are natural predators and while cute, are a key cause of local fauna degradation &amp;amp; extinction.

    @fixatedpersonsunit While UBI is a noble concept, as an example, a $10k UBI for over 18yr olds in Aus would be approx 11% of current GDP. Huge changes to taxation, welfare &amp;amp; the funding models at State &amp;amp; Local gov levels would be required - changes that no government in our foreseeable future would be willing to genuinely explore.
