@TheBreadmonkey Not a joke but whales also help fight carbon emissions; their poop helps feed a plankton that absorbs carbon and when they die, a significant amount of carbon that they had absorbed through out their lives sinks to bottom as whale fall. Wolves also encourage tree growth by keeping deer populations down that would otherwise eat saplings. These saplings grow and stabilise river banks, leading to less flooding. By screwing over these species, we inadvertently screw ourselves over

@masek@infosec.exchange This is ghoulish. I mean one of the popular in memoriam Twitter accounts is Sir Terry Prachett's. Imagine if it all of a sudden started liking and retweeting; absolutely vile idea

Granted he did give me nightmares with Watership Down, but it's now one of my all time faves that I appreciate for the work that was put into the film. Basically I embodied 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger' Kids entertainment nowadays doesn't...

@alice I'm non-binary and sometimes I feel like a poser because I don't really dress androgynous on a regular basis. Then I remember this: Non-binary people don't owe others androgyny

@thejessiekirk Also one of his plans seemed to just be replacing his boyfrien- I mean second in command Starscream, with a robo ninja fembot; Nightbird. Said robo ninja is stated to be primitive compared to Cybertron technology. Starscream's justified response to that was to punch Megatron in the face. Meg's had that one coming to be honest.
