  Sure, recent events have proven that fashware can be found in all corners of the software world. Still, shouldn't relying on closed-source products for their basic security have given some people pause when they're advocates of FOSS?

  RE: https://mastodon.social/@eff/117215319335459732 I’m sure it feels comfy to hide behind grand old principles and copyright laws rather than questioning the tech companies' inhuman speed and ability to patch out and obfuscate individual, actually enforcable claims, and the chilling effect this is having on human production. EFF has made some questionable statements in the past but defending the liberties of the boot is a new level of ridiculous.
