@lfisk@infosec.exchange I had not seen it, and the idea is quite clever. There is a whole thread of experiments by him and others. There is a lot of room for experimentation. In CTF terms, just gibing someone a bunch of hexadecimal values which displayed correctly is a QR can already be quite the puzzle.

@jwrm22@hsnl.social I find it a bit alarming knowing how people take QR codes for granted. Scanning the same code might be what you expected but another time it leads you to someplace else😬
