@mattsheffield@mastodon.social This issue of "nudity" is, increasingly, a problem for adult or even teenage users, in e. g. liberal Western democracies, of #US online services, such as #Pinterest. Anachronistic #US Puritanism cannot be the global yardstick. This issue came to my attention in 2023: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-65071989 When you provide a global service, you simple have to apply regional customs and laws, not bulldoze the lowest common denominator for everyone onto the platforms. @NatureMC@mastodon.online
