@chewie@mammut.gogreenit.net They have an entire "e-Citizen" PKI infrastructure that offers secure mailboxes for communicating with public services, establishes a national ID system (which can also serve as an authentication mechanism), and offers dozens of government services (think department of motor vehicles, department of public safety, tax payments, voter registration, healthcare, etc) online.
